Grown at 1650-1800 MASL, this coffee was produced by over 700 farmers from Guji, a region of Sidamo in Ethiopia. On average, each farmer grows 2 hectares of coffee. Once picked, the coffees are delivered to the local mill, named after its owner Abiyot Boru, where the coffees are sorted, pulped, and processed for export. While most coffees from Ethiopia are uncategorized and labelled as “heirloom”, this lot has been identified as grown predominantly from Bourbon and Typica trees.
